I started my real estate business after a 15 years career in property management. My position was Director of Facilities, Safety and Security for a Medical Organization in which one of my duties was acquisition of medical space. Prior to this I ran my own residential and commercial cleaning, maintenance and landscape business. This background was the base of building my knowledge in real estate. The first few years as a real estate agent, I found it important to get as much education for my new career. I immediately started to take courses to earn my GRI Designation(click here to learn more). A Graduate of the Residential Institute learns all detailed phases of a residential transaction. My education excelled me to go from a Real Estate Agent to a Real Estate Broker in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire in a few short years My commercial training came next, I started taking courses at Boston University and earned a Diploma in Real Estate Studies(click here to learn more). I am also a candidate member of one of the largest commercial brokers associations in the country, CCIM, Certified Commercial/Investment Member, (click to learn more). This designation is earned by an intensive course and experience regime that last for years. A major part of my experience in commercial real estate has been in the area of Land Development. I have taken an intensive course in land development and had been a member of the RLI, Realtors® Land Institute (click here to learn more) and a candidate to become an Accredited Land Consultant. Land development is also a part of the coursework at Boston University. My membership to the RECS, Real Estate Cyber Society (click here to learn more) has taught me how to develop thousands of contacts in real estate worldwide through use of the internet. I have contacts with thousands of residential and commercial brokers, residential and commercial owners, developers, retailers, shopping centers, buyers, tenants, etc. My near future goal is to start up a non-profit that assists the elderly in their real estate needs, as well as, day to day needs. I have earned the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation. This allows me the advantage to work on issues specific to the elderly when selling or buying property. Also check out the following real estate associations I belong to (click on each to learn more) NAR- National Association of Realtors MAR- Massachusetts Association of Realtors NHAR- New Hampshire Association of Realtors
